Hi my name is Pim!
I am a motivated fourth-year CMD student with a passion for illustrating, branding, and UX/UI design.
I like design that’s fun, not necessarily funny, but enjoyable to use. Something that gives you a little smile of the mind through a fresh interaction, a clever detail, or an unexpected twist. It’s about finding moments where character and usability meet, and turning them into something memorable.
I believe that, just like good-looking design is often perceived as more effective, fun design invites curiosity and engagement. When people enjoy using something, they’re more likely to explore it, remember it, and return to it. That makes fun not just a nice extra, but a functional part of good design.

At the moment, I am in the final year of my Communication & Multimedia Design studies. Here, I have discovered that my skills shine the brightest when I can tell visual stories.
Currently I am enrolled in the minor Visual Culture at the Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam, where I hope to further sharpen my senses in visual design and deepen the connection between the logic of good design and the delicate art of the perfect visual.
For my graduation internship, I am looking for a design agency where I can further develop my skills in visual design, UX design, and ideally, branding.
